London serves as a core location for our housing assistance and migrant integration programs Many refugee families arrive here in need of shelter, employment and legal support Save the Life Foundation works closely with housing providers and social services to stabilize lives and restore dignity We also run food distribution language training, and community outreach to help individuals transition smoothly Volunteers in London support housing assessments, mentoring, and public awareness drives
Over 8 million people in the UK are living in food poverty. The current cost of living crisis has led to widespread destitution with many individuals and families struggling to eat and take care of basic needs. Our Soup kitchen and outreach programmes are targeted at these highly vulnerable members of our community. Our simple strategy is to identify and focus on the most desperate cases (those on the streets), while not ignoring others with less obvious needs. We serve lunch and provide survival packs to homeless people, rough sleepers, and struggling individuals in Central London every Saturday from 1pm to 3pm.
This opportunity is open to registered volunteers of Refuge . Please request for a Volunteer Application Form if you are not registered. Kindly click on the RSVP button below to confirm your intention to attend, thank you!
